The NYC STD Prevention Training Center (PTC) is offering a free one-day clinical symposium on adolescent sexual health for clinical providers.  Our goal is to address health disparities in adolescents by increasing provider awareness regarding sexual health, mental health, and strategies to provide comprehensive care to LGBTQ patients, including sexual history taking, biomedical HIV prevention, and contraception.  The PTC is partnering with the NYC Department of Health & Mental Hygiene, Physicians for Reproductive Health and Callen Lorde Community Health Center.

Target Audience: Physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and nurse practitioners who provide direct clinical care to adolescent patients.  This is a clinical symposium intended for medical health professionals and as seating is limited, these providers will receive priority for registration.

Continuing medical and nursing education credits (CME/CNE) for this activity is pending.  Final information will be posted to the registration page and emailed to attendees.

Please note – Due to funding restrictions, we will not be able to provide food or beverages at this training.  Food and beverages are also prohibited from being brought inside the main auditorium.  There are several food places nearby to choose from during the lunch break.  Thank you in advance for your understanding!
