The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the NYC STD Prevention Training Center are offering a free half-day clinical symposium on sexual health for clinical providers in the Bronx on April 7, 2016. The goal of the symposium is to address provider awareness and proficiency in the following areas: sexual history taking; STD/HIV morbidity and trends, STD/HIV screening and diagnosis; and STD treatment recommendations.

The symposium will be held at Hostos Community College in the Bronx. Continuing medical and nursing education credits (a maximum of 3.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ CME/CNE) are available. This is a clinical symposium intended for medical health professionals and as seating is limited, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nurses will receive priority for registration.
