The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Bureau of Immunization (BOI) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Chapter 2 are pleased to announce an upcoming webinar:

Lessons Learned from an Immunization Collaborative and Flu Vaccine Coverage Improvement Tools

Ken Bromberg, MD, FAAP, of SUNY Downstate Medical Center and AAP Chapter 2, and Denise H. Benkel, MD, MPH, of BOI, will discuss a year-long AAP immunization quality improvement project that focused on increasing timely immunization of 19-35 month-olds.  Representatives from three of the practices that participated will discuss their experiences with the project.  After this discussion, there will be a demonstration of Citywide Immunization Registry (CIR) tools that can be used to track your facility’s flu coverage rates and identify patients who have not yet received their vaccine.

The webinar will be held on December 12, 2018, at 12:00 noon.  Please register here.

Webinar details will be emailed to you upon registration.  The webinar will also be archived and available for viewing at a later date.

We look forward to you and your staff’s participation.  Thank you for your efforts to prevent vaccine-preventable diseases.
