Goals: To inform the audience on fundamentals of artificial intelligence, how it is and will be impacting healthcare and specifically neonatal and pediatric care into the future.
Objectives:
- To understand the types of artificial intelligence; machine learning, deep learning, generative AI
- To appreciate some of the barriers and issues with the application of AI in healthcare
- To be able to understand common large language models that are publicly available and understand how to prompt them for effective use in non-clinical domains
- To understand resources that exist today to improve clinicians knowledge of AI in healthcare.
